She'd say.
In a daze, most would say.
But she'd say in a fog.
Head in the clouds they complain,
but she'd claim it's drowning in the dropless rain.
So fustrating! They scream.
Though she'd say it's just the lightening.
Storms of anger, fustration, maybe hurt.
Winds of tears, threatening to spill over the heart.
Rains of deep breaths, hoping to get over the stress.
That's what she'd say.

Missing something that is meant to be such a huge part of your life,
Enveloped in the pain that runs deep,

Maybe being lost in feeling the pain isn't the worst it gets,
Is it possible that the resentment felt tward that person, that event,
Makes you stronger in ways that can only be felt after feeling weak,
Feeling lost and without control?

As the drout of resentment and anger fades,

Pressure
The pressure a teenager feels on their first day of school.
No, first day of highschool. Big difference right?
Well easy for us to say when, well, we've been through it already. Why this topic? You may be asking of my blog. Well because, fankly, it is coming to a time where kids all over our country are going back to school.
Not only is a time to scam a bunch of parents out their money for 'popular' clothes, backpacks, and acceseries. Or buying school supplies. But it is a time where a child has grown a year older. Learned a years worth of things more. Changed who they wanted to be, and made stronger opinions on how they saw things.
Though first impressions may be changed, well, seeing it through a teenager's eyes, their first day is (at the time anyways) the most important day of their young lives, and it is our job to present to out young beings that there is so much more and to insure that they are given every opportunity to begin their lives as young adults.

Why Age?
Age is just a number.
Well some are lead to believe.
But with age comes maturity,
Which most have yet to see.
Though I must admit,
There are those few who make the cut.
Into the ways of a model adult by mind,
While body and years
Are left behind.
In the dust.
In the dark.
These young beings with-hold a gift,
That isn't always easily seen.
Life a gift of words or courage,
Or something inbetween.

Thinking of That Someone
Have you ever became so attached to that someone special by heart, by mind, that he/she is on your mind constantly. Whether it's, how are they doing? or man i love them, or just sending a mental prayer to God to keep THEM safe. Or to make sure THEY have a good day, no matter how cruddy ur day is going.
Some say it's love, some say its crushing, or a step down from obsession. Hmmm....but, what if you know, or are just short of positive that they don't feel the same way tward you. Or maybe that you just can't let go of that someone, knowing clearly that it shall never be. You know you can't let go, that's how it gets to you. That's what makes you want that person so much more.
That's what makes the pain dig in just a little deeper when you think it's not possible.
How could this be? You ask. Well love, crushes, obsession. these aren't just feelings. How you FEEL about this person. How you wish they would FEEL about you.
Love, Crushing, Obsession. They are of the few emotional ABILITIES known to man. While anger, sadness, guilt, and pain are mear FEELINGS.
Love, Crushing, Obsession are and will always be abilities.

Or maybe that you just can't let go of that someone, knowing clearly that it shall never be. You know you can't let go, that's how it gets to you. That's what makes you want that person so much more.
That's what makes the pain dig in just a little deeper when you think it's not possible.

What would we be without teachers?
The average K-12 teacher's salary annually is around $40,000-$45,000. While the average NFL player's is in the millions, the average actor, doctor, lawyer, etc. are by far much more than any K-12 school teacher. Why is this? Of course entertainment is very inportant to the average american life but what would any doctor, lawyer, actor, sports player, etc. be without teachers. If you think from this point of view, you wonder, why is it then, that teachers are paid less then all of these careers?Teachers(other than parents/gaurdians) make the children of America, even more so of the world, who they are to become. They teach children what they need to know to be successful in the future.
People always go on to say how the children of the world are our future. But without teachers how could this be? Where would we be without teachers. How would we have scientists, doctors, lawyers, firefighters, sports players, etc. in any form? Men and women of today should take a stand and make it so that teachers of America and around the world should be of higher praise and salary.
Note: That i do understand that college teachers should be paid more also. This post was just more directed to K-12 teachers.

Love vs. Religion
It is said in the bible that homosexuality is a sin and shall be punishable by death. Think. Why? Because it is also said that any child who is to disbehave or disobey is to be punished by death. It is said that both shall be condemned. So why now are there children free to walk the streets everyday, clearly being disrespectful and breaking rules. Why now shall man be able to eat shellfish freely. This may be found humorous to some, but in all truth, these things are rarely thought about.
Yet, homosexuality is of such high rankings in the list of issues being dealt with today. I happen to understand why people would feel so strongly about the topic, but why, i ask, why is it that such hatred is bestowed upon the homosexual man/woman. Why is it that sin is so much more inportant to man than is faith and the fact that God made every man in his eyes.
I wonder why people don't think of how God loves everyone for who they are. Why is it is that the sinners choose to bestow punishment and hate on those who are seen as different. I believe that ignorance is the seed of misunderstanding and misinterpretation. If man would put aside what they once believed to be good and safe, we could all be comfortable with the differences that humanity bring.
Most people are too hardpressed to believe that they could be wrong. To look past titles and see the truth of what a person is inside. We now find it so easy to look past the simple rules of life. The things we learn in kindergarten. Such as "the golden rule" and things that were taught to us so that we could get along with others and make friends. The since of innocence that children have is what people seem to lose when they become adults. When you think about it, adults can be quite hypocritical. "Treat others how you want to be treated.", "Everyone's different.", "Except the differences of others." and etc. Simple lines that we have all heard from our elders and/or parents at some point or time.
Why shouldn't we follow these rules as adults. The constitution doesn't say that all man should be treated equal, unless the bible says otherwise. Now does it? I'd like to remind you that the Bible was written my mortal man. The Bible was written how one man felt it went down, and it has been changed over time, depending on what was believed to be alright or wrong in that point and time.
People do seem to be so caught up in religion, though religion is man made. It is based on opinion. I do have faith, i believe in God and Jesus Christ. I believe in sin and praire. But i don't understand how people can place they're opinion above others and make the life of others miserable because of their differences, and or beliefs. Love should not be held under standards. I personaly feel better knowing that another child of God is happythe way they are, and that they have someone that makes them happy.
Ofcourse i understand that there are people that do not have faith and they don't believe that God exists at all, and i respect that. However, for those who do, why not allow other people to live with love and happiness. Why make other peoples sins known when you have your own?
Though it will be difficult to change the way many people see homosexuality, we should at least try to fight for equality. If you do not believe in Gay Rights, that's fine. I resspect that, but why not stand up for love. And the happiness of those around you.
